General Information

The Wisconsin Epistemology Conference will take place in the Pyle Center on Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4, 2008. The speakers will be Earl Conee, Richard Feldman, Alvin Goldman, Ernest Sosa, and Timothy Williamson. The commentators will Juan Comesaña, Jim Pryor, Alan Sidelle, Elliott Sober, and Peter Vranas.

The papers will be made available in advance, and should be read by participants before attending the conference. Each speaker will summarize the main point of his paper in about 30 minutes, then the commentator will speak for about 15 minutes, the speaker will respond briefly and then there will be around 40 minutes for questions from the audience.

The conference is organized by Juan Comesaña, and sponsored by the Anonymous Fund and the Berent Enç fund of the Philosophy Department.
