Katie specializes in philosophy of science and philosophy of biology. Before coming to UW, she received a B.A. in Philosophy and a B.S. in Mathematics from New Mexico State University. Aside from teaching and philosophy, Katie enjoys going on hikes with her two dogs and talking about how great New Mexico green chile (and New Mexico generally) is.
