Marcos received a BA in philosophy from Rutgers University-New Brunswick and an MA in political philosophy from Pompeu Fabra University in Spain. His research focuses on ethical issues with the use of randomized controlled trials (RCTs) in development economics and policy research. He also has research interests in the social contract tradition and economic methodology, especially their intersection. In his spare time, he can be found riding bikes in and around Madison.
