I studied at Texas Tech University where I received my B.A. in Philosophy in 2024, and my M.A. in Philosophy in 2026. I am mostly concerned with social philosophy by many avenues, typically inspired by lived experiences of marginalized people. In the past, I have focused on social issues in philosophy of language and social epistemology. I wonder how language can be used to maintain and exacerbate the oppression of marginalized groups, and how members of marginalized groups experience certain hermeneutical injustices. Recently I have been more interested in philosophy of gender, race, and sex. Outside of philosophy, I love to spend time with my two cats, Penelope and Ashe, and my partner. I have recently found enjoyment in cooking and I hope to pick up baking in the future. I also love watching movies, especially horror/thrillers. My pronouns are she/they.
