Epistemology, Ethics
My research is in epistemology and ethics, and often my work falls at the intersection of the two. For instance, I’ve written recently on the value of belief and knowledge, the source and norms of epistemic rationality, and the problem with motivated reasoning. Right now I’m drawing up a peace treaty for the so-called “amelioration wars” and trying to understand the relationship between belief and less committal doxastic attitudes like credence.
