I received my Bachelor of Science in Philosophy and Physics from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2024. I especially enjoyed ethics, both normative and meta, quantum mechanics, and an independent study on the philosophy of physics, focused on general relativity. My philosophical interests are diverse, but they include examining moral theories, particularly consequentialist ones, the possibility of moral responsibility and how it relates to free will, the nature of intuitions in moral and scientific domains, and the philosophical nature of our physical theories. And though I’m skeptical of its practical use, I can’t help but be drawn to metaphysics hoping it can resolve my general puzzlement with the world. Beyond my academic interests, I take pleasure in perfecting my lasagna recipe, religiously consuming music, overanalyzing board games, and improving my mediocre piano playing.
