Alec Michael

A native of Nashville, TN, Alec holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Washington University in St. Louis. His philosophical interests include truth, meaning, pragmatism, justification, and explanation; his research grapples with the question of why we ought prefer one theory or mode of explanation to another. Currently, he is exploring these topics through work on fictionalism. When Alec isn’t working, he enjoys hiking, fermenting food, and endlessly re-watching The Lord of the Rings.
