Avery’s primary interests are in epistemology, both formal and informal; he is also interested in the philosophy of science and logic. Before coming to Wisconsin, Avery earned his BA in philosophy at Idaho State University. Outside of the classroom, you might catch Avery running, reading, or playing video games with his wife.
