Biography
Professor Whittle’s work starts from paradoxes and logical results that are related to them, and considers the light these shed on broader philosophical issues. Recent publications include ‘Proving Unprovability’ (Review of Symbolic Logic 2017), ‘Size and Function’ (Erkenntnis 2018), ‘Truth and Generalized Quantification’ (Australasian Journal of Philosophy 2019), and ‘Ontological Pluralism and Notational Variance’ (to appear in Oxford Studies in Metaphysics).
