Arun received a BA in Philosophy from the University of Cambridge in 2016, and an MA in Philosophy of Biological and Cognitive Sciences from the University of Bristol in 2018. His research is at the intersection of the philosophy of mind and cognitive science, focusing in particular on the nature of affective (pleasant or unpleasant) conscious experience, and its psychological and neural underpinnings. Outside of philosophy, Arun enjoys cooking, music, and travelling. He has also held gainful employment in a variety of office-based roles, but he didn’t like it.
